Curriculum & Programs

St. Ignatius School offers a balanced Catholic education for students from preschool through 8th grade, with a focus on academic readiness, personal responsibility, and development of the whole child. Our curriculum prepares students for success in Catholic high schools while supporting a wide range of learners.

Our academic program provides clear expectations, appropriate challenge, and meaningful support at every grade level.

Core Curriculum

Faith Formation
Students receive formal religious instruction and participate regularly in liturgy. Catholic values shape the culture of the school and are reflected across subject areas.

Language Arts & Mathematics
Students develop strong skills in reading, writing, and communication. In middle school mathematics, students are placed in either a regular or advanced track to best support their learning needs. Students who complete Algebra I are prepared to move into higher-level mathematics in high school.

Science
Science instruction includes regular activities and demonstrations and labs in the middle school. Students have access to advanced science opportunities as well as additional support when needed. The middle school offers a STEM elective.

Social Studies & TechnologyStudents study history and social sciences while building digital skills. Instruction is supported through the use of Google Classroom, iPads, and Chromebooks.
Arts, Physical Education & Health
Visual art, music, physical education, and health are part of the regular curriculum, supporting creativity, wellness, and personal growth.
