Greetings St. Ignatius Families,

A special thank you to Mr. Auer and our teachers for making student centered videos for their grade level this week in preparation for our  “Love In Deed” virtual event. The fifth graders had a grand time interviewing Fr. Mike Moynahan. Tune in on Saturday, February 26th at 7:00 PM to see all of the fun videos. We can hardly wait for our families and extended families to see our 
students shine. Each and every day our students are developing eager minds, 
passionate hearts, enthusiastic spirits, and brilliant futures.
 
Our “Love In Deed”  virtual, interactive event will help us build community while fundraising 
for our school into the next year.   If you are interested in being a sponsor for this event, 
please let the office know. Class themed baskets, along with activity buy-ins with the 
school staff will be featured in an online silent auction in the days leading up to the fundraiser. 
Thank you for your fantastic basket donations this week! The baskets are sure to be amazing. 
Procurement donations need to be received by next Friday, February 4th in our school office. 
The first batch of free dress passes for families donating items to the themed class 
baskets were sent home today! When your family contribution is received in the school 
office, your family name will be entered into a prize raffle. This week and next week one family name will be drawn and that family will receive a basket of St. Ignatius swag including glassware, coasters, and a gift certificate to Papa Murphy’s.. Our first raffle winner is the Stovall 
family!
 
As the COVID cases surge due to the Omicron variant, we are grateful for our students and families working together to hold strong to our many layers of mitigation. We strongly encourage students to wear a KN95 or N95 or double-mask with a surgical mask under a cloth mask. Please let us know if we can help your family meet this expectation. It is a good idea to send your  student to school with two or three masks, so they may change masks as needed after recess or PE. Please continue to test your student five days after notification of a case in your student’s cohort. Remember to keep your test receipts for possible reimbursement through your health insurance company. You may order free tests as well. Please remember proper masking in and out of school and maintaining social distancing are the best ways to keep our school community safe.  

Monday, January 31st is the FACTS deadline to apply for tuition assistance for the 2022-2023 school year. If your family would like to be considered for tuition assistance, please update your information in FACTS and apply for financial aid for the 2022-2023 school year.  As we prepare to celebrate Catholic schools and the impact they have had on our youth for generations, may we hold St. Ignatius School in our prayers for many years ahead of providing a faith-based Catholic education to students from across cultures. “Happy the one who finds wisdom, the one who gains understanding.” Proverbs 3:13
